WebLust Special!

Fred Davis & Peachpit Press present:

The Windows Bible Giveaway!

I've convinced my publisher, the very hip and Internet savvy Peachpit Press, into letting me give away the complete electronic version of my book, the Windows 3.1 Bible. Originally sold only as part of the Windows Bible CD-ROM, the Windows 3.1 Bible electronic edition is completely interactive and fully indexed using Microsoft Viewer. Viewer looks and works like Windows help, so the interface is familiar. I used Viewer 2.0 which you need to already have installed on your system in order to use the electronic book (Microsoft makes this available at no charge). Also, this is the full image of the book, not just the text, so every screen shot, menu, and icon is preserved. That means that it's a mongo big file... a tad over 6 MB to download in .ZIP format and a whopping 36 MB once it's decompressed and running...hey, if you want rich, graphical info you'll have to get used to the storage implications ;-)

Download the Interactive Windows 3.1 Bible! - click here for a 6+ MB download of the Windows 3.1 Bible in Microsoft Viewer 2.0 format. On some browsers you may need to hold shift while clicking on this link, or take some other special action to download the file.
Download Microsoft Viewer program - click here to download the Microsoft Viewer 2.0 program files.
