I was hired as tech editor way back in 1983, and wound up as editor-in-chief by 1985. A+ was originally about the Apple II, but also covered the Apple II, Lisa, and Macintosh. This was a fun magazine to create, thanks to a first-rate staff that included people like Maggie Cannon, Peter Tucker, Chip Carman, Carol Person, Eva Langfeldt, Leslie Steere, Fabian Cooperman, and Jeff Felmus. Great team, fun time, great magazine -- and I've got the Computer Press Association Award for Best Computer Magazine of 1986 to prove it.
